Just call the airline that you purchased the tickets from, usually they expire after a year when they were bought. You can always use them for credit as well, if you don't plan to travel to that particular country..the problem is the airline and where does it travel to. Your best bet, just call and they will let you know what restrictions you have.

you need to check with your airline

some airlines offer longer expiration dates than others
well it depends, your ticket must say, usually the tickets expire after a year!, but also depends if you already use one part of your ticket, you must read carefully your ticket issues, in the last page, your receipt, you can find the validity of them
it depends, some discounted tickets expires after 3 months, some of them 2 weeks with no permission to change dates. that all depends on the fare basis and class. I doubt that you are familiar with their codes on the ticket.

so I advise you to go to the issuing airlines (its logo is printed on the top, extreme right or left) or its agent, or its branch-office in the country where you are now, they will do the correspondences with issuing office, and will know the fare basis, and will advise you accordingly the results whether it is OK, or you need to pay a fee, or penalty, or nothing and you can re-confirm it.

tickets are issued subject to certain fares and promotional discounts, and within one airline, each country office sells tickets by applying certain discounts inline with the competition and market position among other airlines. so no one can have a say on the ticket better the issuing carrier, and issuing office.

wish you can still enjoy the remaining of your trip
